Two of the intel’s latest mobile processors are now in the lead.
These Intel 13th Gen Core processors were officially launched just yesterday, but most benchmarking sites are yet to pick them up in their ranking. This includes CPU-Z Validator or Geekbench, which are the most commonly used software by tech reviewers and enthusiast. It appears that there is one benchmark site that had already listed the new CPUs.
PassMark CPU Mark is definitely not the most important benchmark around. However, it was the fastest to show Raptor Lake-HX performance figures. This includes two Raptor Lake-HX processors featuring 24 cores and nominal TDP of 55W.
The Core i9-13980HX has now scored 54,483 points in CPU Mark, while Core i9-13900HX is listed with a score of 51,739. This is even higher than recently mentioned AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX of the upcoming Dragon Range “Zen4” 55W mobile processor. It was only for a few days, but it was the fastest mobile CPU according to the same ranking:

The detailed score data shows that Raptor Lake-HX is at least 9% to 14% faster in single-threaded workloads than Dragon Range, and about just as fast compared to last-gen Alder Lake-HX CPU. The multithreaded score is a different story, though. Thanks to increased core count to 24, both CPUs are faster than 12-core 7845X by at least 11%. But AMD has not said the final word yet, as the company is also preparing a 16-core Ryzen 9 7945HX processor, which is likely to narrow the gap even further.
