Drip irrigation fittings come in many different sizes.  Make sure to use the right size fitting for your tubing so the fittings do not blow out when the water is running.  Use couplings to join two sections of tubing when you wish to expand a drip circuit or splice damaged tubing.  Elbows are useful for making sharp turns around features such as deck corners or raised walkways.
